GlobeLink Telecom has its roots in the work that its principals began in 1986.

Today, GlobeLink’s offers design, installation, and commissioning of the complete range of components in wireless telecommunications networks. GlobeLink can turnkey an installation from the proverbial green-field to the cut-over of traffic to long term maintenance including network design, path engineering, site acquisition, tower construction, antenna installation, and radio installation to the demarc point. GlobeLink commissions and test’s systems from 800 MHz to 40 GHz.

GlobeLink staff are particularly experienced in terrestrial microwave projects. GlobeLink principals were involved in the design and commissioning of an OC-12  SONET backbone system on the island of Oahu as well as many other projects in Alaska and Hawaii. The GlobeLink team has extensive experience with many of the major radio manufacturers’ microwave product lines having completed over 60 multi-hop projects. Working for a major international cellular company, GlobeLink installed all of the radio electronics, MUX, DACS, power supplies, and 196 antenna systems on 88 hops of SONET microwave.

GlobeLink Telecom staff are also experienced in installing wireless point to multi-point local loop (WLL), WANs, BETRs(Basic Exchange Telephone Relay),  CARs (Cable Antenna Relay), and satellite earth station systems. The principals have worked on a large satellite project consisting of 29 3.6 meter earth stations installed and oriented in remote western Alaska.  GlobeLink principals have experience in commissioning  broadband as well as microwave systems from  virtually every large manufacturer. To facilitate these efforts, GlobeLink has access to complete inventories of heavy rigging equipment in Alaska and Hawaii.

Wireless systems installation is a global business and GlobeLink can undertake assignments anywhere in the world. Since October 1996, GlobeLink staff has worked in 32 states and 7 foreign countries.  With an Alaskan heritage, GlobeLink is intimately familiar with staging and executing projects in harsh weather and remote locations.
